I led her over to where people were sitting and talking; there were numerous benches.

We took a seat. I was still looking around, worried, and a little scared.

I placed my hand on hers. "Don't worry. Everything will be fine."

I looked at him and gave him a sad smile. "I hope so."

I smiled back reassuringly. "I won't let anything happen to you."

I nodded in understanding. Still keeping an eye out for anything.

My phone vibrated in my pocket. I took it out, viewing the new text message.
You're not in school. Get there. NOW. -
(Hey! :D)
I could tell by the look on his face something was wrong. "Everything okay...?" I asked, already knowing things were not okay. -
"Uh... Yeah. Everything's fine." I turned off my phone and put it back in my pocket. How the HELL would he know I wasn't in class?
