I reached up to some old leather-bound books and carried them over to the table Robin had been sitting at.

Eric had gotten back as fast as he could, which was fast enough for him to be standing at the table when Ashley came back to it with some books.

"Hi again."I said with a flirty smile.

"Hello." He smiled and walked over, looking at the books she had. He looked at Robin. "District 3 Laws? Trying to memorize them?"

"More of trying to find a loophole, but okay whatever you want to think."

(I had some loophole law ideas, but...)
Eric took the books from Ashley and put them on the table, looking at them. "Should we each look through one?" -
(great minds think alike.....what were your ideas?)
"Yes,"Robin said,"That's probably going to be the only way we actually find one in these 500-900 page books." -
(I'm afraid to share them... what were yours?)
"Okay." Eric picked one of the books up, sat down in a chair, and started reading. -
(that they find a very, very old law that says that if someone of eric's race is in love with a human, it gives them protection from all intentions of his race.)
"Sure."I opened one of the books and started reading. -
(Yeah... let's go with yours.)
Matt picked up a book as well. He started reading it. -
(But....I wanted to hear yours...)
Robin followed in suit with the others. -
(But I don't want to share them...)
So far, Eric hadn't found anything. Although, he had learned that it was illegal to breed any canine from earth with any caninelike creature on his planet. -

I'd read a bunch of things things that made the odds of me being able to get out of here very bad. I bit my lip in frustration. -

Matt frowned. Nothing so far. -
Soon I found something. I tapped Eric on the arm and showed him the text.
