He looked at it, a small smile growing on his face. "Robin, Matt, Ashley found something."

Robin looked the page over. "This could work."

Matt nodded slowly.

"If we show this to the rest of the council at Sara's little decision hearing....we may be able to get them to decide against Sara."
I smiled a bit at the thought. -
"Is the law recent enough, though?" Matt asked.

"It's one of the few original laws of our district that hasn't been rewritten. Even though it's a few hundred years old, it's still in."

"You paid a lot more attention to Dad, huh?" Eric laughed a little.

"Yes, of course I did."Robin said still serious.

"When is Sara's hearing?" Eric asked. Matt returned to what he'd been doing a while ago.

"Two days from now." She switched her attention to me. "Sorry Ashley, you won't be able to go home for a few days."
"I figured." -
Eric frowned. Ashley's mom was probably worried sick. He sighed. "At least you'll be going home..."

"Yeah. That's what counts."

"And I can still stay with you?" He asked.

"Yes, Eric."
