Robin and Mat sat in the library. They both looked up, and then at each other.
"Matt... can you sense..." Robin frowned.
Matt nodded. "I can hear her..."
The both sat there for a moment. They had both detected a strange being in the house. Robin with her telepathy and Matt with his super senses. -
"I might as well take you to meet the rest of the family."Sara said, stopping outside the door to the library.
"Okay."
Opening the door, she said,"Matt, Robin, there someone I want you to meet." -
Matt and Robin looked at each other. That's her? Matt thought. Robin nodded, slightly unsure.

"This is Lianne. The last half-breed in existence now."
"I'd prefer to just be called Lianne. Not Lianne the half-breed."
"You can deal with it." -
"Uh, hi Lianne..." Robin muttered. After a quick scan of her mind, she decided she wasn't a big fan of Lianne...
"Your voice still hurts my ears Sara." Matt stared at Sara, then Lianne, then back to Sara. -
"That's nice Matt. Well, Lianne is Eric's new fiancee."

"Great..." Robin frowned.
"But what about Ashley?" Matt asked.
(Whoa... that was a long technical difficulty...) -
"I'll deal with her later."Sara said.

"But..." Matt frowned, not completely understanding. They'd found the law... didn't that protect Ashley?
Eric kissed Ashley. He'd deal with getting rid of Lianne later. Right now he had to focus on Ashley. -
"But what? You can't possibly think that the government will actually save her."
I kissed back, my worries momentarily going away.
(what's up?) -
(Not much, you?)
"But there's the-" Matt started, cut off by Robin.
He deepened the kiss. Proof that the law must work. -
"What is there Matt? You don't have anything to protect her."
Sara and Lianne walked out of the room.
I held him closer to me, lacing my fingers through his hair -
Robin glared at Matt. He sighed. "Sorry."
He pulled her closer to him, not wanting the moment to end. Not wanting Lianne and Sara to be coming to take her away from him and replace her with a girl he hated. -
(I'm just playing video-games with my
boyguy-friend.)
Lianne sat down in a chair in Sara's room. "Let's get down to business. In a few days I'll have a hearing for rights to have Ashley forcefully taken away from Eric and then go as planned with the experiment. What I need you to do is....on that day, distract the rest of the family so that they can't possibly get there in time to stop me."
"Sure."Lianne said. -

He stopped and stared at her.
