Kissing him back, I wrapped my arms around his neck.

Eric put his arms around her waist and deepened the kiss.

I pulled myself closer to him.

Someone coughed. Eric stopped and turned to see a girl standing in the doorway. "Eric, you didn't tell me you brought back a human already!"

"Oh crap." I instantly pulled away from Eric.

She walked over quickly and hugged Ashley. "Hi! I'm Sara! It's so nice to meet you!" she said with a fake smile. Jacob appeared in the doorway, grinning.

"I'm Ashley. Nice to meet you Sara." I mouthed to Eric while hugging her back,'Is she Jacob's wife?'

Eric nodded slightly. Then he looked at Sara. "Well, I didn't see you when we came..."

"Wow, I'm meeting his whole family."I thought.

"You should've tried to find us, then!" Sara smiled.

"She's really perky, and happy. How?"

"Well, it was really nice to meet you Ashley. We should go." She took Jacobs hand and sort of dragged him back to the house. Eric rolled his eyes.

"Well, uh, that ruined the moment a bit."

(And what, does being alien automatically make her unhappy? Or being Jacob's wife? Or a combination of the two?)

"Yeah. And that's probably the nicest I've seen her."
