(Well, she's alive NOW...)
"Um, yes. Come on. I'll show you." Eric led Ashley through some hallways and out into a garden. -
"Did I ever tell you that I love flowers?"

"No."

"Well, then I suck at telling you things. Not that I didn't realize that already."

"Oh well. I know that you do now."

"Yes, you do." I walked down the path a few yards and saw what looked like a patch of mid-sized Venus Flytraps. They were pretty, even though they were carnivorous.

Eric wasn't exactly sure if he should join her or just stand there, so he walked beside her.

I watched as a tiny bug climbed into the plant's mouth. Feeling a little sorry for the bug once the jaws of the plant clamped shut, I whispered,"Rest in Peace, Little Bug." It sounded kind of moronic, but I was that way.

Um... Fortunately those were the only carnivorous plants in the garden.

Walking on the path again, I noticed some lilies. Or they were flowers that looked like lilies." Are those, um, lilies?"

"Yep." Eric nodded.

"Oh my gosh, I love them."

"I'm glad you get to see them, then."

I kissed him on the cheek. "I am too."

He smiled and kissed her on the lips.
