"That's good. Right?" I tilted my head.

"Yep." Eric nodded.

Awkward silence...yay. I walked over to the window to occupy myself.

Robin walked over to Eric and started speaking quietly to him.

Looking over the city, I thought it kind of resembled a human city. Then I got to thinking that people on Eric's planet weren't that different from us, except for the advanced reflexes, wings, tails, and such.

Eric nodded slowly.

Lily came over to talk to me.
"So, will you and Eric be tying the knot?"
"I don't know. It depends."
"Depends on what?"
"I mean, wouldn't it be a little unheard of here to marry a human like me."
"Oh that make a little sense." -
Jacob left the room again. Robin and Eric finished their conversation and Eric walked over to stand next to Ashley by the window.

I didn't notice Eric coming behind me.I was too focused on Lily.
"He would have to ask anyways. I'm really,really old fashioned in that way."
She pointed behind me and walked away. I turned to see Eric. "Oh. Hi."
(i might drop off in the next few minutes.) -
"What was that about?" Eric grinned.

"Girl stuff."I said nervously. I thought he heard everything.

"Hm." Eric looked out the window.

"He didn't push the subject.Good."I thought.
