Eric kicked his brother, who was sitting on the ground, lightly. "Get out of here. Or I'll kill you." He didn't really mean he'd kill him, but it was troubling that he'd come...
Jacob sighed and was gone in less than a second. Eric turned back to the house and went inside. -
I met Eric at the bottom of the stairs."He knows doesn't he?"

"He wouldn't appear for no reason," Eric said, a little angry, as he walked past her to the bathroom and began to wash the blood off of his face. Luckily his eye hadn't been touched.

I tried to help him the best I could. I knew he was angry so I stayed out of the way most of the time.

"You think your mom would be mad if I just stayed here tonight?" Eric stared at himself in the mirror. The cuts were quickly healing; in fifteen minutes they'd be lines; in thirty they'd be completely gone.

"I don't think so. Where will you sleep? We don't have guest room."

"I dunno. Couch?"

"I guess that's what we'll do then."I said. At that I went up stairs to my room and went to sleep. The only thing was...I forgot to close my window.
(suspense....) -
Eric lied on the couch, staring at the ceiling. Can't... sleep...

I heard someone come into my room. I stayed as still as possible and tried to be a quiet as I could. The person jerked me up and made me face him. It was Eric's brother. He put a finger to his lips and I stifled my scream.

Something's not right... something's... Eric stood up, silently freaking out.

He put something over my mouth,in case I did scream. He jumped out the window with me in his arms. He started running.

Walking outside, Eric saw his brother. And Ashley. He sighed, taking off and flying silently above the trees.

I saw Eric flying above us.I thought,"It was all a show, he never really liked me. He just wanted the job done." I held back my tears.

Eric could see Ashley's face. She looked like she was going to cry. That gave him an idea...
He swooped down, ramming his brother into the ground. Sure, Ashley fell too, but Eric quickly picked her up, holding onto her defensively. It could probably be seen as sexist. Maybe, with what he was planning, racist, too. "Really, Jacob? Can't you let me have a little fun? I mean, I'm trying to get the job done, and I found something they could use, but can't you let me play with it a little before I bring it back? It's just a human. Besides, not all of us get to be married. So I should get to play around a little."
