I went up to my old room,only to see that my mother had kept it exactly the way it was when I had left. I smiled.

He knew that Ashley would be up in her bedroom for a long time. He left the house and took flight, knowing that he'd remember the house if he saw if from the air.

About an hour later, my mom's car came up to the house. I ran out to hug her, and she was obviously surprised to see me.

Eric sat in a tree a few blocks away. He grinned when he saw Ashley running up and hugging her mom.

"What are you doing here?"she asked. "Mom...I wanted to see you." She said,"I wanted to see you too." I hugged her again.

(Whoops, sorry. Finished my penguin, though.)
He could hear them perfectly. Smiling so much and not paying attention to balance, he nearly fell from the tree. -
(I love penguins)
I heard some rustling in the trees but ignored it. I knew it was Eric. My mom and I went inside and sat down and the dining room table. -
(Wanna see it? It be Christmasy, though.)
Eric yawned a little. He wanted to go meet Ashley's mom, but was it a good time? -
(yeah. I'd love to.)
I told my mother about what Dad had done. She understood and told me that she'd help me with getting away from him. -
( Behold, the nameless Christmas penguin.)
Finally, Eric flew down, folded in his wings, put on his shirt, and walked over to the house quietly. -

She asked me,"So who's Eric?" "He's a guy....."I said awkwardly obviously uncomfortable with having boy conversations with her. -
(Thanks. It was fun to draw. Maddy's gonna love it. Ms. Y will love it more.)
Ironically, Eric walked in that moment. "Oh, sorry, I hope I'm not disturbing your conversation or anything."
