I wanted to ask him why his parents just didn't chose another person, but might of made him angry.

"Oh. And no. Not too many of us do have wings."

"Wonder why?"I said to myself.

"Not sure."

"Why didn't your parents pick another person? Was it like a one shot deal..or what?" I asked, not sure how he would react.

"You could say it was. Besides, I'm kinda glad my unborn fiance died. Considering what I've seen on earth." Eric smiled a little. "So, do I get to ask you questions?"

I blushed and also gave him a little smile. "Ask away."

"Where's your mom?"

"My mother is an activist. Like the save the earth or end world hunger kind of activist. She travels alot. My dad doesn't want me to talk to her because he thinks I'll tell her. So almost every time she calls he picks up then hangs up on her." I answered.

"Oh. Why don't you call her while he's not at home?" Eric went downstairs and came back with the home phone.

"He'd find out. Then he'd do what happened last night again."I said, gesturing for him to put the phone back.
