Alex's cell phone rang but he didn't have to get up. "Hello...mom? Oh, so you and dad are working late tonight...yeah...sis is at a sleep over? ...Yeah I'm fine, don't worry. Okay, bye." He hung up. "Hm, everybody's gone."

"Gonna be alone for tonight?"

"Yeah, one of those nights."

"Aw. I see," he said.

"W-would you like to ..stay over?" He asked shyly.

He smiled. "Sure.."

"Awesome." He smiled back. "I could make dinner of some sort. What would you like?"

"Anything is fine," he said.

He nodded. "I could make pasta...perhaps spaghetti."
