She couldn't help but laugh. "You psychic, or just full of yourself?"

"Good. I'd feel awkward if either one were true." She continued to smile, trying her best to keep her eyes on his, but they just kept wondering to the contours of his face.
I wonder... -
"I'd be a lot different if I were either one."

What time was it? Sullivan began to lift his wrist to check, then remembered he didn't wear a watch.

"11:48, on the dot." She still smiled.

"Huh. Thanks." Sullivan smiled a bit. It wasn't every day you met someone in the woods. It was never that they were a cute girl.

"So...wanna walk?" She took a few steps away and looked back around, invitingly.

Sullivan followed Chase.

"Tell me a bit about yourself." Chase walked in a slow stride, with her head held high: classic.

"Fourteen, I live in the town nearby, I spend every night out here in the woods, and my parents can't shapeshift. Don't know why." Sullivan looked at her. "Your turn."
