Chase smiled, her white teeth shining."And does pretty Kitty have a name?" She tilted her head, ontinuing to analyse him.

"Of course. I'm Sullivan." Sullivan smiled a bit. "And you are...?"

"Chase." She half smiled. "Sullivan....and you're how old, now?"

"Fourteen." Chase was probably older, but Sullivan was taller.

Chase's eyes opened wide. Damn. That ruins all chances...
"Hmm. 14, really? You're...young." -
"I can't imagine you're much older."

"Well, not much older. Sixteen...but I look young. And short" Chase laughed again, kicking a rock into the stream.

"You could say that again." Sullivan took a step toward her and looked down at her, arms crossed.

Chase bit her lip, and crossed her own arms. She looked up, unblinkingly. "Well, you're a big boy, aren't you?"
