She stared back, her eyes darting slightly at his build.

(I just realized he stared at it twice. Failure. That creative writing teacher from over the summer would not be proud... *shames self*)

Sullivan frowned. Creepy cat. Not that he didn't like cats... He just preferred the larger ones.

Chase came closer and closer, wondering what the boy would do next.

Sullivan watched as the cat came closer to him, but didn't move.

...Should I Change? I don't have much of a choice now, do I. Then again, I don't want to traumatize him.
Chase circled him, going around and around, waiting for his next move. -
Sullivan stood still, completely relaxed. I'd Change, but I don't want to freak the cat out.

Hmm. Guess I have no choice now....time to pull out the animal.
Still dangerously close to him, her claws retracted and she hissed, her short, cat fangs sticking out menacingly at the boy. -
Sullivan laughed.

He laughs? At...me?
Chase wasn't the type who enjoyed mockery, much less in her feline form. She transformed, not into a girl, but into a black panther.
She hissed again, her cat-like fangs much larger and sharper than before. -
Sullivan smirked. He hadn't expected her to be able to transform, though. He turned into a white tiger and sat down, staring at her.

Oh. He's....like me. Now things are starting to make sense!
Chase transformed back into a girl, her blonde curls gleaming in the moonlight, much like her eyes.
"Here, Kitty Kitty," Chase teased in a voice like chocolate. -
Sullivan transformed back into a human. "You were a cat first."

"Your point being?" Chase looked him over, approving.

"What are you doing out here?" Sullivan asked, looking at her.
