"Bai!" Rose called, waving. -
He waved and smiled.

Taji was getting close to done and went back behind the cash register. "Maybe I can have some fun now."

"Atarashii o tomodachi!" she exclaimed, turned and running down the sidewalk to home.

He smiled and left with Nisei.

When time was up Taji left the store and started walkingup the sidewalk, taking a turn down an alley.

"I am home!" she announced, opening the door to the one story house she shared with her adopted mother, Merit.

The two slipped into their usual attire and knelt on their knees. "Greetings father. How are you today?" They chimed.
"Good. Did you get it?" He stared at them with fierce eyes.
"Hai!" -
He climbed up the brick wall on a metal ladder, and when he got to the top he pulled out his guitar from behind some talls boxes. "Nothing like some good guitar to end your day."

"Home soon, Rose? Did you get the things I asked for?" Rose stopped mid-step, and hung her head, "I forget......."

"You are dismissed. Prepare for dinner."
"Hai, father." The two stood and left to their rooms. -

He went and sat near the edge of the roof, and softly started playing a few chords.

Merit smiled, took Rose by the hand, and shoved her out the door. "Then go get them!" Rose sighed, and started back up the street. "Orokana shojo." she muttered.

Nisei and Miharu practiced their dances with the new music. Miharu often messed up, earning a swat to the head with a paper fan and a scolding from Nisei. "Okay...step here-Ouch! What'd I do this time!?"
