After a few more strokes Jessie appeared. Jessie was a flying mint bunny. "Hello Taji!" She chimed and flew over happily.

Halfway to the store, Rose spotted a guy in an alley. He looked as if her was holding a guitar and talking to someone, but it was so dark in the alley she couldn't see who or what. -
Miharu groaned and continued following his brother, until one of his clogs slipped under. "Ah!" He hit the ground hard. "I-Itai..." He attempted to get up, but couldn't. "Nisei..."
The older sibling took hold of his foot and looked at it. "That's enough for tonight. You've gone and twisted your ankle."
"It's not my fault!" -
"Hi Jessie, any good news?" He asked. "Hm, not really. Sorry."

Rose watched the guy from outside the alley, completly forgetting about what she was supposed to do.

Using his good foot, Miharu kicked his brother's mouth. "Stop blaming me for what a stupid pair of sandals did!" He threw down the clogs and limped to his room.

Taji sighed and nodded. Then he noticed a girl at the end of the alley looking in. "Who's she?" He asked Jessie. "Hmm I think she's new around here. Poor thing has a bit of trouble talking to people but she's very nice."

Yay! ^^ I go ahead and take my turn, then
Rose blinked, and smiled when the guy looked over at her. "K-Konnichiwa!" -
"That damn jerk...Ow..." He carefully lay down in bed, putting a pillow under his foot to keep it leveled. "Ngh..."
His mother walked in and set down a cup of tea for him. "My poor baby..." Her hand stroked through his hair softly. "Sleep now okay?" She sang a Japanese song to help him sleep, she would do the same for his older brother too. -
"Konnichiwa. Genki desu ka?" He asked, a bit worried to see her out on her own at night.

"Watashi wa genkidesu." She replied, "You speak Japanese?"
