"You really shouldn't be out here right now," He said, shoving the memories out of his mind. "What do you need, anyway?"

"Soap." she replied, smiling. -
"That idiot of a brother..." Nisei growled, walking down the street in casual attire.

"Okay. You should get going before it gets late." He smiled and ruffled her hair a bit. "Bye."

Rose smiled back. "Bye!" she said cheerfully, waving and running to the store.

"Jessie, make sure no freaks go near her." He said to the bunny.
She smiled. "You worry a lot."
"It isn't safe for children running around after dark." He covered his face with his hand.
"Okie, I forgot about that. Sorry." Jessie started flying out of the alley. "Bye Taji!" -
Once at the store, she asked the clerk for her mother's "special smelling soap". He handed it to her, and charged it to her credit card. No, not Rose's credit card. She's to young to have one.
