  You hear shrieks and cries
  Yet only one dies
  
  In the dead of the night
  You have no knowledge of fright
  
  Should you run?
  Should you hide?
  Just go away.
  These laws, you shall abide.
  
  Blood is spattered across the floor
  The murderer, he wants more.
  Should you agree,
  he will let you flee.
  
  Don't be afraid of the dark,
  For this sight will leave a mark.
