Jayden noticed Patton. 'Go ahead.' he mouthed, figuring the food could shut everyone up for a bit.

Patton slowly walked out, balancing four plates.

Jayden took one for him and one for Chester. "Thank you."

Chester gave a weak smile to Patton. The sous chef came out with a plate for Maeve.

Maeve took it, still looking very pissed off.

The five of them ate in awkward silence. Chester didn’t bother to attempt to make conversation. A partially hoped Benji would say something bad so he could punch him.

Benji kept flickering his gaze between Jayden and Chester, smirking. Jayden noticed. "You can stop staring." He muttered.

Chester glanced at Benji. ‘Are we just that appealing to your ugly eyes?’

Benji glared. "Too fragile to handle a couple glances, are you?" -
(He’s feeling a lil touchy today xD)
Chester rolled his eyes. ‘Yeah, yeah, whatever.’ -
(I can tell-)
Benji turned his attention to Jayden. "How'd you end up with him anyways? No better options?" -
Chester huffed, aggressively spearing his fork into a boiled potato.

"Or are you both doing it for some attention? Y'know, the whole all press is good press thing." Benji continued, noticing Chester getting angry.
"Shut up." Jayden snapped, wishing his voice didn't sound so weak and flimsy. -
‘Why would we be doing it for attention?’ Chester argued, glaring. ‘We’re kings, we have enough attention.’

Benji shrugged. "You tell me, attention seeker."
"I said that's enough, Benji. Stop it."
