Chester exhaled, quickening his pace. 'C'mon.'

Jayden followed him, looking down to avoid peoples stares.

Chester exhaled shakily, glancing behind him every once in a while. ‘I swear to god, if reporters jump at us out of nowhere-‘

Jayd didn't answer, holding Chester's hand tight while his other one was jabbing his fingernails into his palm so hard it'd leave a mark.

Chester noticed his boyfriend’s tight grip on his hand. He gently kissed the back of Jayden’s hand. ‘We’ll be okay.’

Jayden looked up at him, smiling weakly.

Chester gave a small smile back, pulling him closer.

Jayden leaned into him. He heard a camera, and looked up, seeing one of the reporters.

‘s---,’ Chester muttered under his breath, holding onto Jayden tightly.

Jayden leaned into him. He made eye contact with the reporter, raising an eyebrow. The reporter took it as an invitation to step forward. Oh dear god-

Chester plastered a smile on his face. ‘Good afternoon sir, we’re in a bit of a rush so no time for questions-‘

The reporter was already saying questions, saying them so fast Jayden could hardly hear him.
"Just one question, sir." Jayden said, plastering a smile. -
The reporter looked down at their intertwined hands, then back at Jayden. ‘Are you two dating?’

Jayd looked up at Chester, silently asking for permission, though he supposed it was hardly necessary since it was kind of obvious...

Chester glanced down at their hands, then Jayden. He exhaled shakily and turned his gaze back to the reporter. ‘W-We are.’
