Jayd noticed the shakiness in his breathing. He pulled Chester closer. "Hey, talk to me, what's wrong?" This is your fault. He couldn't handle you yelling- who can blame him?! You're such a brat.
-
Chester looked at him, feigning a smile. ‘I-It’s nothing. I’m all good.’
-
"Don't fake in front of me." Jayden murmured. "Come on, you helped me, let me try and help you."
-
‘I’m fine, really,’ Chester said quietly, looking away. ‘I just don’t do well with… yelling..’
-
Jayden frowned, pulling him closer gently. "I'm so sorry." He mumbled. "I'll never do it again, I promise."
-
Chester averted his gaze to the ground, exhaling shakily. ‘I-It’s fine, I’m just being sensitive.
-
"No, I shouldn't have yelled, it's not your fault."
-
Chester glanced at him for a moment. He sighed and opened the door for him to his bedroom.
-
Jayd slowed his walking. "Do you want me to leave you alone?" He asked quietly, wanting to make him feel better.
-
‘No. No, please stay,’ Chester said quietly.
-
"Okay, I will." Jayden squeezed his hand.
-
Chester gave a weak smile and flopped onto his bed, pulling Jayden down with him.
-
Jayden let him, a small smile on his face.
-
Chester snuggled up to him, burying his face in his chest since Jayden didn’t like him touching his hair.
-
You should let him touch Jayden's hair without realizing he's even doing it or something.
Jayden held him close, kissing the top of his head.
