Jayden saw the reporter write something down and then flashed his camera again. Jesus, at least give us a warning first.

"-No, that's all the time we have for today." Jayden shook his head before he continued walking. -
Chester walked next to him, holding his hand tightly. ‘I’m sorry, this is not how I wanted them to find out…’

If he were in a better mood, Jayden would have asked how exactly he planned on them finding out. Instead he just shook his head. "It's not your fault."

Chester sighed. ‘I guess, but still.’

Jayd leaned into him, exhaling slowly.

Chester lead him to the castle walls. He walked through the back door, arm wrapped around his shoulders. -
Jayden leaned into him, taking a deep sigh of relief once the door was closed.

Chester lead him into the castle, rubbing his back. 'You okay?' he asked softly.

Jayden nodded quickly. "Yup. Never better." He lied.

'Darling, I don't believe you. Nobody is "never better" after coming out to journalists.'

Jayden didn't respond for a bit, leaning into him. "I'm sorry, I'm being such a wreck today."

Chester stopped walking, cupping their cheek. 'You're not a wreck, darling. I get it.'

"No, it's just embarrassing at this point." Jayden pulled away from him, immediately regretting it. "What kind of king gets scared around reporters?!"

Chester grabbed his hands, pulling him back close. 'It's fine, love. Don't be embarrased, I get it.'

"It's not fine!" Jayden didn't mean to yell at him. "Because then I'm getting nervous and upset and then you're worrying about me and getting nervous instead of us both just going outside without overthinking it like normal people!"
