Okay bet that’s what I’m gonna do. Chester subconsciously reached up as he snuggled into Jayden, one hands resting on the back of his boyfriend’s head and twirling his hair with his fingers.

Jayd stiffened for a second before cautiously letting him. Chester needed the distraction after all...

Chester raked his fingers through his hair, looking up at Jayden to make sure he didn’t look uncomfortable.

Jayden noticed him looking, and tried to look less cautious and more relaxed. He booped Chester's nose.

Chester smiled and kissed Jayden’s nose, shifting position. He buried his face in Jayden’s hair, holding him close.

Jayd looked up, trying to stay looking relaxed in the hopes that if he looked relaxed, maybe he'd start being more relaxed. You're fine, stop panicking- I said to STOP panicking-

Chester rubbed his back. ‘Is this okay?’ he asked quietly, voice muffled by Jayden’s hair.

"Of course." Jayden tried to keep his voice from wavering when he said it. Come on, it's Chester, he's not going to do anything, relax-

Chester didn’t feel right doing it. He pulled his head back slightly, searching Jayden’s face for uncertainty. ‘Are you sure?’

Jayden nodded, giving a small, forced smile. "I'm sure."

Chester pecked his lips, but backed off. He sat up and stretched. ‘I’m going to go get a servant to bring us dinner.’

Jayd looked up at him, sitting up. "Okay."

‘I’ll be right back,’ Chester said with a small smile, standing up and walking to the door. He shut it on his way out and went to find a servant.

Jayden sat there, staring at the floor.

Chester told a servant, then a few minutes later walked back in the bedroom.
