"It's my fault for not trusting you." Jayd mumbled.

'It's my fault for not telling you sooner.

Jayden sighed, leaning into him ever so slightly.

Chester let him, looking down.

"I... I was talking to Oliver about it." He said quietly. He wasn't sure why he was telling Chester, other than just wanting him to know.

Chester wrung his hands. 'What did he say about it?'

"To give it time." Jayden shrugged. "And that you wouldn't do anything to intentionally hurt me."

Chester nodded, glancing at him.

Jayden looked up after a bit, staying quiet.

'I-Is that what you're scared of? Me hurting you?'

Jayd looked at him before looking away, not wanting to see his boyfriends face fall when he answered. "Kind of."

Chester wrung his hands. 'Kind of?'

"Well, that among other things." Jayden pulled away.
