Maeve kept her arm around Lavender.

"So what've you two been up to?" Jayden asked before taking a bite of his food. Good god, you sound so awkward.

Maeve shrugged. 'Eh, nothing much. You?'

"Not much either." Jayden lied.

Maeve nodded.

Jayden smiled, eating more of his food.

Maeve smiled and continued eating.

Jayden liked seeing the two of them so happy. He finished his food quickly and stood up.

Maeve ate.

"Bye guys! Have fun!" Jayden said before leaving and looking around for Oliver.

Oliver was in his office, as usual.

Jayden found the door to his office, and knocked. "It's Jayden."

‘Come in,’ Oliver called, looking up.

Jayden walked in, sitting down on a chair.

Oliver swivelled around in his chair to face him. ‘What’s up?’
