'Yeah,' Chester mumbled.

"That's why you don't like doing pranks?"

Chester nodded.

"And you weren't planning on telling me because I was going to react like... This?"

Chester nodded again, looking down.

Jayden frowned, looking down. "It was an accident, right?" He asked quietly, not wanting to look him in the eye.

‘Yeah,’ Chester mumbled, looking at him.

Jayd refused to look him in the eye, not wanting to see his reaction. He sighed, resting his chin on his hand. "What do you want to do about this?"

‘I want things to go back to normal,’ Chester said quietly, reaching out to try and grab his hand. ‘And for you to trust me,’

Jayd let him, looking at their hands. His stomach twisted in knots. He wanted to trust him. He wanted to forget all of this ever happened.

Chester rubbed the back of his hand gently. ‘Love? Jayden?’

Jayden looked up, not able to hide the unsureness from his face. "Yeah?"

‘Can you say something?’

"What do you want me to say?" Jayden mumbled. Do you expect me to forgive you for hiding this from me and just expecting me to trust you again right after?

‘That you trust me? That you love me no matter what and you won’t leave because I was scared to tell you this?’ Chester asked quietly. He knew it was a big ask, but he could hope..
