Chester cried himself to sleep that night.

Jayden barely got any sleep, and the sleep he did get was light and very short. Once the sun rose he got out of bed.

Chester woke up a bit after sunrise, but stayed in bed. He didn’t want to face Jayden at breakfast.

Jayden got dressed in a sage green sweater because it was soft and felt snuggly and he needed snuggles because he was sad. He walked to breakfast early.

Maeve was already there, giggling and talking to Lavender.

Jayd sat next to Maeve.
"You look like you lost a fight with a raccoon." Maeve commented, looking at him with mild concern.
"Thanks, you look good too." -
Lavender giggled quietly. Chester curled up, figuring he’d skip breakfast. And preferably lunch.

Jayden rolled his eyes playfully, figuring he'd tell Maeve later. "How are you two?" -
(We don’t love not eating is bad)
‘We’re good,’ Maeve said, nodding. -
(mmmmph is it tho)
"That's good." Jayden smiled. -
(YES GO EAT SMTH-)
Maeve nodded, smiling. -
(IM LITERALLY EATING RITZ)
"Did you wake up early to get Lavender, or did she stay the night?" He asked curiously. "Sorry, that's really random." -
(GOOD DONT NOT EAT BC HUMANS NEED TO EAT FOR SOME REASON)
Maeve shrugged. ‘She stayed the night.’ -
(SHHHHH NO THEY DONT EATING IS STUPID)
Jayd nodded. "Cool."
Lavender was blushing slightly and leaning into Maeve. -
(IT IS STUPID BUT LIKE YOU’LL DIE IF YOU DONT SO LIKE)
Maeve smiled, grabbing Lavender’s hand.
(Also Jatz are so much better why are you eating Ritz)
