Chester smiled and let him, walking to the door.

Jayden smiled. "Do you want to go back to our room, or are we fighting Beatrice?" He asked, half joking.

Chester chuckled. ‘Let’s go back to my room.’

"Sounds good." Jayd grinned.

Chester intertwined their fingers and walked to his room.

Jayden followed him.

Chester flopped onto his bed, instinctively morphing into a phoenix. -
Jayden's eyes widened, never seeing his phoenix form before. "Woah."

Chester chirped before morphing back to his human form. ‘Sorry,’ he mumbled.

"Don't be sorry." Jayden sat down next to him. "I didn't know you could do that."

‘I didn’t want it to freak you out,’ Chester said quietly.

"Good thing I'm not freaked out." Jayd kissed the top of his head. "I think it's cool."

Chester blushed. ‘Really?’ he asked hopefully, snuggling into him.

Jayden nodded. "Yes, really. Did you really think I would hate it?"

‘Beatrice hated it,’ Chester mumbled.
