Maeve sighed. ‘Fine, come in,’ she said.

Jayden opened the door, walking in and setting the plate on her nightstand. "Do you want to tell me what happened?"

Chester lay down on his tummy by the bed, stretching.

Maeve shook her head. "I only let you come in for the cinnamon rolls."
Jayden nodded. "Fair enough. Should we know what happened?" -
Chester morphed into a golden retriever and jumped up onto the bed.

Maeve went quiet for a moment. "I gue-"
"If you have to think about it that much, it's a yes." Jayden chuckled. -
Chester lay down next to Maeve, then morphed into a human. ‘Could you tell us what happened? Please?’

Maeve sighed. "Me and Lavender(i'm like 90% sure that's her name and I'm too tired to check) got in a fight last night, so I was already pissed off and then she just kept bugging me and annoying me until I told her what was wrong and she did her stupid little 'aw that's too bad for you loser' frown and laughed about it and I just-" She grumbled. "Your ex sucks." She mumbled.

Chester looked at her for a moment, before sighing and looking away. He fidgeted with the chain on his pocket watch. ‘I’m sorry, Maeve. That’s not okay of her to do.’ -
(thank god)
Maeve nodded. "Yeah." She mumbled.
"Am I allowed to punch her?" Jayden asked both of them, mostly joking. -
‘Go ahead,’ Chester said with a weak smile. ‘What did you and Lavender argue about?’

"I don't want to talk about it." Maeve shook her head.

‘That’s okay. Do you want us to leave you alone?’

Maeve thought for a moment. "If you want."
