Jayden frowned. I could tell. He paused before holding Chester closer. "Yeah, well I'm not Beatrice, and I don't hate it."

Chester snuggled into him, sighing. ‘Thank you.’

Jayden kissed the top of his head.

Chester smiled, morphing back into a phoenix. He draped his wing over Jayden.

Jayd leaned into him, smiling.

Chester nestled his head and beak into Jayden's neck, careful not to poke him.

Jayden ran his hand through Chester's wing feathers, smiling.

Chester trilled softly, letting him.

"Is this okay?" Jayden asked softly.

Chester snuggled closer in response.

Jayd took that as a yes, smiling.

Chester chirped softly.

Jayden chuckled.

Chester chirped happily.

Jayd booped his beak.
