Ur very welcome
Oh good lord lmfao. I think you were the only one who took it seriously xD -
Except that one kid that wrote about living on the streets and the orphanages xDD I was reading it after class and my jaw DROPPED
And then the person after them (because we could only see the last sentence they wrote and then keep writing and assume what it was about) started writing about how annoying having siblings was and it just went like a f---ing rollercoaster xD -
Omfg no-
Why is it always children and orphanages š I wrote a whole book with that plot line when I was like 8 -
Lmao
LITERALLY THO xD -
You guys I finished that one story where we had everyone in the class write a bit of it
Somehow it ended up just as crazy as before-
I wrote the ending in History and my friend was reading over my shoulder and their jaw dropped and it was the funniest reaction ever -
My friend wrote the parenthesis lol
Fake fortune tellerā¦ (this story is so chaotic, Iām really sorry. Prepare for a hot mess, maybe a minor mental breakdown.) Lucas Hooper
I walked into the tent, the smell of cheap perfume filling my lungs. This was my first time going to a fortune teller. I didnāt exactly believe the stuff, but my motto was to try everything at least once.
āIāve been expecting you.ā The girl said, her hair hidden under piles of silk. Yeah, Iām sure you say that to everyone that walks in, I thought before she went: āNow, take a seat, Havyn.ā
I froze in the seat I was in. How did she know my name? I paid for a session right outside the tent, just a few minutes ago. I didnāt have to give my name. She knew it right from the start, then she pulled out a chair and this mysterious looking glass ball, it looked like those ones from the movies that could tell your fortune. I had a feeling it was because she asked me what I planned on doing with my life and what goals, trips and more I wanted to accomplish and do. I have many goals in life. Some of my goals are to have a fast mile time, to be able to cook nice cookies. Life was too complicated for these goals. If only I could just not have to try as hard as I must. Maybe I could just have a simple life like everyone else. With a normal family, normal friends, and a normal school life. But after my car crash my life changed forever. My mother and father died, and I was forced to steal food and raise my siblings on my own. If the police found out, I would be in very deep trouble. They would split up me and my siblings into different orphanages by age, and I would be left alone, never to see them again. And let me tell you raising your siblings is a tough job, especially when they nag at you all the time! My siblings were so annoying. They never respected my stuff. All they did was steal all my stuff. I decided to get back at them and steal their stuff. I first stole my sisterās bed. She was so angry, but I would not give it back until she returned my stuff. If she didnāt want stuff like her bed stolen, she wouldnāt have done this. This was all her fault anyways.
Everything was her fault. She caused me to have a breakdown and do things. Why did she make me do this?
The psychic scratched her throat, bringing me back to the present moment. Breathe, Havyn. Breathe.
She read my fortune; her eyebrows furrowed into a very confused look. āIā¦ Iām very puzzled, Havyn.ā
āPuzzled?ā I asked quietly. That didnāt sound good.
āWell, you seeā¦ Itās hard to describe without sounding like a fool of a fortune teller, but I donāt see a future.ā
āNo future? What does that even mean?ā I asked in a hushed voice.
āWell, Iām donāt quite know for sure, but my guess would beā¦ Youāre going to die.ā
My eyes widened. What?! I couldnāt die. That wasnāt an option. Who would keep my siblings in line if I wasnāt around? Who would pay rent? Not my sister, surely, she could barely work for minimum wage without causing problems in the workplace.
āCan you check again?ā I asked quietly.
The fortune teller hesitated. āNormally Iād make you pay extra, but lucky for you, this is a special case.ā She closed her eyes again, breathing deeply. I just stared at the crystal ball, which went from looking like solid glass to looking like it was smoking. Suddenly I could hear her voice, a faint whisper at first, but slowly turning into a louder and louder voice.
āJoin usā¦ Join usā¦ Come on, Havyn, join us!ā
Then everything went quiet, and the crystal ball returned to normal. The fortune teller opened her eyes.
āStill nothing, sorry.ā She noticed me looking at her, and I mustāve looked pretty shaken because she just raised a single eyebrow, something I wish I could do. āWhat? Did one of my silks fall of or something?ā
I was about to tell her what just happened, but I stopped at the last second, shaking my head slightly. āItās nothing. I ought to leave soon anyways, soā¦ bye!ā I grabbed my things and left without another word. I know it was rude to leave so abruptly, but staying in there any longer wouldāve been nightmare fuel, so I didnāt. I got in my beat-up car, the same one Iāve had since drivers ed, and started driving home.
But something was off that night. There were a lot of bad drivers on the road, so I almost got in at least 3 car crashes! One of them was a semi, too!
Itās like the world decided it wanted me to get in the coffin before I even got my degree. Thanks, world. I really appreciate it.
I finally got to my apartment, and almost got attacked by my neighbors Doberman. Now, I love dogs, but Iām not exactly the biggest fan of that particular dog, and he certainly didnāt like me. I got in my apartment without being ripped to pieces by that dog, thank god, and my little sister was in the living room, watching TV.
āElla, go to bed. Itās getting late, and you have school tomorrow.ā I sighed.
āHow am I supposed to go to bed if youāre the one who took my bed?ā She shot back. She was a brat, but she had a point.
āYou can sleep on my bed. Iāll sleep on the couch.ā
She seemed satisfied by that, and she walked off to go to bed. I crashed on the couch, falling asleep pretty easily considering what happened before.
But, while I was sleeping, some brats decided to break into my house during the night. Iām a pretty light sleeper, so I woke up to see them raiding my kitchen! I have no idea why they chose my house to rob- Iām assuming the Doberman scared them away from raiding my neighborās house- but they did.
One of them noticed I was awake, elbowed one of his friends- holy sh(canāt say bad words lol)t he had a gun- and the friend just wordlessly aimed the gun at me.
Oh my god, the fortune teller was right. -
