Chester smiled. He looked down at their hands, then blushed and quickly dropped Jayden’s. Then he wished he hadn’t and averted his gaze.
(True true maybe we do it this day if you want?) -
Jayden looked up once he let go, noticing he was avoiding his gaze. Great. He loved it when people tried to hide from him like that. He shoved his hand in his pocket and looked down at the ground.
(whatever you want idm either way lol) -
Chester twisted a ring on his thumb nervously. He sighed softly and opened the doors to the dining room.

Wait but they just opened them- Jayden walked in the room, sighing as well.

I MEANT THE DINING ROOM DOOR THEY ALREADY OPENED THE BEDROOM DOOR. Chester sat down. A teenage girl, about 15 or 16, was sitting down. She looked up at the two, disappeared into thin air, then popped into existence again. She looked like Chester except her eyes were sky blue.

OHHH OK. Jayden's eyes widened. "Uhm, hi?"

YEAH. The girl narrowed her eyes at the man. Chester laughed nervously and sat next to her. ‘Um, Jayden, this is my little sister, Maeve. Maeve, this is King Jayden. I think I told you about his visit.’

Jayden held out a hand for Maeve to shake. "Hello, Maeve." He grinned.

Maeve blinked and shook his hand. She disappeared again and reappeared a few seconds later. ‘Are you gay?’ she asked Jayden.
Chester flushed. ‘Maeve, you can’t just ask that!’ -
Jayd froze for a moment before responding. "Depends on who's asking. Why?"

‘You look gay,’ Maeve decided.
Chester buried his face in his hands. ‘Maeve, I swear to god-‘
‘My gaydar is going off. You don’t have a gaydar, so you wouldn’t know,’ Maeve said, elbowing Chester. -
"Funny, no one else has figured it out that easily before." Jayden chuckled. "Yeah, I am."

Maeve grinned triumphantly. ‘Good to know.’ Chester was bright red.
‘Jesus Christ, Maeve, we need to go over manners again-‘ -
Maeve shook her head. "No, I think I remember them fine."
"Chester, it's ok, I really don't mind it." -
Chester glanced up at Jayden. ‘Are you sure? I-I mean, i-it can’t be pleasant to be called out like that-‘
Maeve snorted.
