The servant lead Jayden into the castle. They were followed by two guards. Chester looked up as the four men walked into his throne room.
The servant stepped aside. ‘Your majesty, I present King Jayden.’
Chester met the blond’s eyes. Oh he’s kinda hot. -
Jayden gave a small bow after locking eyes with Chester. He didn't think he looked too bad either-
"Good morning, your majesty." He said as he bowed. Also it's late morning now, I've decided soooo. -
Chester blushed lightly, staring into his eyes for a moment, before clearing his throat and responding. ‘Good morning to you too, your majesty,’ he said. He stood up and walked towards Jayden. ‘I’ll show you to your room.’ Phht okay-
-
"Thank you." Jayd said, trying to sound as boring and strictly business as possible so if he ever did pull any stunts, it'd be a SHOCKER that it was him. He looked around the castle. Oh god, I'm going to get lost so easily-
-
Chester nodded once and lead him through his maze of a castle. He’d gotten lost many times in his youth, and found in amusing when visitors came and couldn’t find their way around. Part of the reason he hadn’t created a map. He glanced at Jayden for a few moments, then looked away, trying to find out a way to impress the man. Then he got mad at himself for wanting to impress the man.
-
Jayden noticed all the glances Chester stole at him, frowning slightly in confusion. He found it odd- he knew he was a human in this kingdom full of all sorts of magic and different creatures, but surely he wasn't that unusual... Right?
-
Chester’s gaze turned to his hair. He kind of wanted to touch his fluffy hair. He immediately looked away. The two got to the room and Chester opened the door for Jayden. ‘My servants will have already put your luggage in here. If you need help or anything, don’t hesitate to ask a someone where I am. O-Or you can ask a servant. Either way.’
-
Jayd nodded, walking in and looking around. It was a very nice room- not as nice as his actual one, obviously, but very nice for a guest room. "Thank you." He said, falling into his bed with a smile.
-
Chester gave a small smile. ‘Anytime. Uh, do you need anything else before I go, or are you all set?’ he asked, fidgeting with his hands.
-
"No, I'm good." Jayden paused. "Where'll you be, when I finish unpacking?"
-
‘Uh, depends. Most likely my office, but I might be out in the gardens or the forest. Also sometimes my bedroom,’ Chester said, shrugging. ‘So, um, maybe ask a servant. They usually know where I am.’
-
Jayd nodded. "Sounds good." He snuggled further into his blanket. "I might need to steal this when I leave, it's very soft."
-
Chester chuckled. Oh my god he’s too f---ing cute- ‘Go ahead,’ he said, rubbing the back of his neck. ‘I’ll er, see you at lunch. My bedroom is a few doors from yours, so if you need directions come get me.’
-
Jayden nodded. "Ok, sounds good. See you."
-
‘Bye,’ Chester said, waving slightly. He walked down the hallway to his room and crashed onto his bed. He groaned and buried his face in his pillow.
