CHAPTER 1: VALLEY UNKNOWN
Ron woke up in a valley unknown. Oh and it was bright! Ah, the sun! Ron was a white male with black hair. Pretty strong, I guess. So, Ron was an average guy? No, sorry. No one is ‘average’. Who is this Ron? The valley was alive with all the insects going about their day. The trees waved and the birds whistled, two! Also, the grass, in their varied shades of green, waved in the wind.
Where was he?
Ron looked around, and started to climb. He did not know of origin or start, it appears that he has, forgotten? Ron paused. What was he doing? He asked himself, who am I? No answer. He decided to turn around and look at the land around him. He wished that he could see more in this emerald valley. What was beyond his limited human bubble of sight? He did not know. Would he find answers or struggle or, really, anything?
That is what he, and now, you, are going to find out.
(I am going to release it in chunks because it will not all fit in one post. Also, no posting until chapter is finished.) -
Ron felt something as he walked. Well, he felt multiple things. For one, he was breathing. Automatically, it seemed. What is this? He wondered. He knew why it was there after trying to hold his breath for a few seconds. What about his heart beating? Could he stop that? Nope. He felt his tongue in his mouth, he felt weight inside, but what confused him were his clothes. They were not part of him, so what were they for? Anyway, he left them on because it felt

comfortable and warm.
Ron kept walking, not scared of the future. Not scared of what was beyond, but rather, interested? It is hard to describe the feeling that Ron was having in human language. He was eager to see what was next, but at the same time, he wanted to stay in his area. But why? It didn’t have any sense of security, shelter, food or water? What was so special about this spot?
Nothing. Nothing of what Ron knew anyway. It was like a dream, when you have it, you understand what was going on. But when you wake up, you forget everything in that dream in the next 5 minutes. Only for Ron his life was like said dream, and it faded almost instantly. Ron wanted to remember, but when he tried, the past was taken farther from his future. This is strange, but there is no present. As you are reading this, then you are in the future. Same as I am writing this, but at the time I’m complete it would be in the past. The time you read would be in the past. The past that you could never go back to. -
Ron kept walking, thinking back on his decision. He was not sure if he should keep going and risk it, or settle down and play it safe.
Now Ron knew, by instinct and muscle memory how to fight, hunt, and survive. But he also felt like continuing through the emptiness. The expanse. And as it was getting dark, Ron was getting more and more tired. He was hungry, probably because he hadn’t eaten anything the whole day. He was hurting and cramping all over due to walking. He did not even walk that much in his memory.
Who was he? -
The sun was setting and it was getting cold. Ron started to shiver and turn blue. He never understood why there was weather like this, what was the point? How was it made? And Ron pondered these questions. It started getting bright in the distance?
Sunrise? No. The sun was still setting. Fire? Yes, there was a flicker of a flame in the far forward, and Ron knew that going there meant survival.
Ron, as he was walking, wondered what lied ahead. Was it dangerous? Maybe. Ron hoped that there would be people there. Anyone, really. It was not like he was going to remember anyone. -
what the f--- is this.
-
it f---ing awesome
-
Now Ron was unusually calm about this. If you did not know what would happen, would you? Well this was a thing already done. On another world, like ours but not the same. Just imagine it is like, say, the 1400’s in this story. Of course it is not, but just create a mental image of a world with bows and arrows instead of guns. Imaging stone brick walls instead of metallic ones. Think about what there was and put it here. No medicine, no president, but there is something special. No countries. The world population is about 1500 and few people remain. The days are always warmer and the nights are always colder. There are always snow and ice and frozen lakes on winter months which seemed to last forever. There are many different animals and some same ones. There are extremely deadly lightning storms and tsunamis and floods can last for months. Tornadoes are week-long devils that can break up the rocks. It is easy to get hurt, and death is common. Hail storms are serious and can happen around 4 times in one month. It is harder to grow food because of the soil and everyone has faced famine and droughts and starving times. All this has caused people to steal more to fight more and to kill more. There are barely any agreements and there is basically no law. Death by pregnancy is common and twins and more are blessed. The natural healthy death age is 50 and most die around 30. People kill to get what they want. Kid napping and rape and arson and homelessness and homicide and suicide and betrayal and cannibalism and bloodshed and shellshockedness and slavery and envy and disease are ALL COMMON.

(I said no posting till I am done with the chapter.)
-
It is 492 years since the start ant the world is burning. There are theories and legends of how life was like when it started, but no one truly knows. Sorry to ruin your day, but I have to explain what this world is like before we continue through this world of unknown, at least it is unknown in Ron’s eyes.
-
Ron kept walking through these fields. He kept feeling hungry and it was almost unbearable. He was freezing, it felt like. Ron’s heart was racing as he feared sweet death. But, in spite of all this, Ron had no other choice. He had to walk toward the flames.
(I won’t be able to post for a while but I am not done with this chapter) -
It was the middle of the night, and in this world there are no stars and there is no moon. The only light seen was that fire. It seemed it was getting dimmer. Was it going to go out? If it did, Ron would be left in the pitch black, turning to a crystal of ice.
When you are in an area of no light, then you would be able to see the light of a candle 20 MILES AWAY. Now imagine how far this fire could be, and you would face a scary truth.
(I am not done, DO. NOT. POST.) -
(Coming back in 6 hours)
-
Ron was alone, though he did not know. He should never find out or he would have given up, and excepted forever loss.
Let’s be glad that he didn’t find out.
Ron kept walking cold with frostbite and pain. Ron had a feeling of defeat. Of lost. Of sorrow. A large sense of defeat that he thought he was going to just not exist. -
He tripped and fell, as a shearing shock of terror and stabbing and jabbing emptiness of pain and hurt rippled like a wave throughout his body. He screamed with an intensity that was so shockingly high that it could wake a toad under 6ft of snow from its deep winter sleep.
