Sounds of the ocean.
...Silence.
Her own golden brown hair cut straight to the inch brushed past the pale shoulders of the young girl on the beach. The exposing atire on her silky, tanned body was a frilly blue and white laced two-piece swimsuit. Hazel eyes flickered with curiosity, brown flecks flashing across the sandy beach. One set of her purple-painted fingertips ran into the golden sand, scraping each grain as another hand adjusted her scratched, brown sunglasses. The nametag on her bathing suit ripped and fell off, blowing into the wind. On it written in italics was the name Madison.
Creak.
Whine.
Squeak.
Shine.
Sounds inside the cabin.
...Silence.
Her own velvet ginger hair blew gently across her face from the gentle summer breeze coming through the draft of the beach cabin window. Her slightly tanned skin and freckles were caressed by the warm rays of the sun. The baggy atire on her rather tall frame consisted of a heavy XL-sized t-shirt and Capri shorts. Her tan-colored Jimmy Choo flip flops lay scattered in front of the door flown open, but she didn't care. Her pale, colorless nails scraped across the television screen flickering images of Spongebob. The nametag of the shirt draped across her back fell off, reading in cursive, the name Jillian. -
