  What if there wass a tiny little box, but not too tiny, in the corner of the page? And like, if you were in a thread and talking it would alert you when someone posted. It would have one box for every thread you have posted in in the last five minutes. And maybe the box could say the name of the most recent poster person, and change colors as time goes by. like... gree means within a minute, orange means two minutes, and so on.
