Sometimes I feel like I'm too much for him. I want him to be more focused on himself than 'if Alice's mom hit her again'.
I've been thinking about it for a while now.. But I absolutely do not want to see his face.. That sorrowed face he showed me when I was sick.. It's so saddening. ;~;
I don't even know if he'd forgive me for breaking his heart.. -

Aw Alice, I can tell by this that you both really do care for each other. He wants the best for you while you worry about burdening him. But if he wasn't willing to make some sacrifices he would have left already. True love stays together through thick and thin. I love you guys and I hope everything works out.

He worries if your mom hurt you because he cares for you. You're the world to him and he doesnt want to see you hurt. When you were sick, that look of sorrow was because his angel was feeling bad, and there was nothing he could do to help. That sorrow was a sense of helplessness.
Do you want him to start thinking about himself? All you have to do is let him know that he matters to you. When he tries to comfort you (even if he fails at it) thank him. Hold him close. Tell him that you're alright and not to worry about you. He will always want to be there for his angel but he will acknowledge that he has a life of his own.
Dont break his heart. He's poured his life and soul into trying to make you feel better and if you leave him it'll make him feel like he failed you. That will be what hurts him the most. Feeling like no matter how hard he tried, he wasnt good enough for you. That is what will break him.
So Alice, dont leave him. Dont push him away. Let him know he's important to you and that he matters to you. Tell him your alright even if there is something small bothering you. Pick your battles. He doesnt need to know about everything. Just the important things. If you think it's too much for him, then just ease off on telling him about it. I know it sounds wrong and cruel to do but believe me, it isnt.
What would be more cruel? Not letting him know about the bad things that have happened? Or letting him know that no matter how hard he tries, he cant stop them? -

Especially Ana and Ork. :\ You two are right. It'd make me feel worse. I'd hurt myself and him too.
