Every group has f---ers like that. The Vocaloid fandom is represented by the select few retarded weeaboos, whilst everyone else disregards the intelligent ones.
If I let all the f---wits scare me out of the fandoms I liked, I'd have nothing. Vocaloids has the same recolours and s---. And even really screwed up pairings.
Not stopping me. xD -
I think Vocaloid f---wits are pretty damn annoying because of the Pitchloid things and the recolouring as well and all that. -.- Plus all the Miku desu crap.
But like with you, I love Kaito so they ain't stopping me. :P
(I can't say anything over the pairings though, because I like Gakupo/Kaito. xD) -

(Neither can I lolol, the only pairings I have problems with are the pedo ones, I like Gakupo/Luka, so I can't say nothing >.>
