Your parents can do what they want. Don't like it, leave the room. I like watching it with my dad because it's like a bonding time. xP
Plus, it's stupid to hate sports just because some athletic people are rude. -
I don't HATE football. I hate how they stop like every 5 seconds.
But I don't really follow the sports.
My uncle's father was sweating through his shirt while watching the game...its not a pretty sight... O.o -
I do feel that some sports fans represent the lowest common denominator of human intelligence. I have no respect for fans who cheer a player's injury, especially a player on their own team, like Chiefs fans did when quarterback Matt Cassel left with a concussion. That's absolutely disgusting. But they're the exception, not the rule.

I happen to enjoy football quite a bit. I've grown up watching it, I look forward to a new season every fall, and I've been baptised in blood by 11 straight seasons of my team missing the playoffs, soon to be 12, because I don't know if you've seen the Bills this year, but they are nauseatingly bad.

@tongue I agree with you. Even if you're on the other team, you should NEVER cheer for another player's injury. That's just barbaric.

We have people from England here from time to time. And from other parts of the world for that matter. So asking English or American football is kind of neccessary, as opposed to thinking they mean American because they didn't say soccer.

I hate football (american). Its so boring and dumb to me. I only watch the superbowl, and i really only watch for the comercials. And slso, i think its dumb how girls always go crazy over football players. Yea, some of them are cute, but (alteast for me anyway,) personally i like soccer players, and just soccer better in general. Yea, soccer is a slow sport so i hate watching it (unless certain people are playing O.o :P) but i love playing it, and i love soccer players too. I just think its dumb how everyone always freaks out over football when it and its players are so stupid

i just hate the fact when people join football they get all obnoxious. also my parents practicly make me watch football with them. i weasle out of it. also, i think alot of people dont know what nor how to play football, but cheer anyhow because its a populer sport. once, a man was in a bar, watching football, cheering for both teams. he was a fanidiot and would go up to strangers and talk about football. he was practicly brainwashed. i highly dislike the sport and period.
