(uhhh yuh)
Ed knocked on their door, stuffing a hand in his jean pocket and mussing up his hair. -
Michael rushed to the door and pulled it open, smiling brightly. "Hiii!" He said happily, backing up a little.
-
“Heyy, Mikey, how’s it goin’?” Ed said with a smile, stepping inside.
-
"Good! I got to go to the park yesterday," Michael said, walking into the living room. "My mom went to the store, so it's just us and Kathy- KATHY, Ed's here!" He exclaimed, running over to his sister's bedroom door.
-
“Oh, no, she’s fine-“ Ed said, standing awkwardly at the door with a chuckle.
-
"Mom told me to make her not ignore you all night, that she needs to socialize-" Michael said with a playful grin, loudly knocking on her door. "KATHY-" Her door swung open and Kathy stuck her head out, an annoyed look on her face. "I was in the middle of something, what do you want-" She paused, looking over and seeing Ed. "Oh, h-hi," she spoke softly, her face heating up a little.
-
“Hey,” Ed said with a chuckle, waving at Kathy. “You writing poetry?”
-
“That’s cool, so it runs in the family?” Ed said with a chuckle, hesitantly picking up one the comics and flipping through it.
-
"Kind of, yeah," Kathy replied, nodding a little. "I kind of got into it first, Michael's the copy cat~" "Am not!" Michael pouted, grabbing another comic. "Man, I wish these weren't in French, then I could read them."
-
“Uh, I know French,” Ed said with a chuckle, holding out his hand for the comic.
-
"Really??" Kathy and Michael spoke at the same time, the young boy with a confused look and the older girl's eyes lighting up. "When did you learn?" She asked, a small smile on her face.
-
“Uh, when I was younger,” Ed said, flipping through the pages with a chuckle. “My nanny was fluent and taught me. I don’t know much, but enough to communicate.”
-
"That's cool," Kathy replied with a smile, nodding. "Our dad's French, so he taught me some stuff- then I went ahead and learnt a bunch of stuff. It's such a beautiful language~"
-
“Oh yeah?” Ed said with a grin. “ Que t'a-t-il appris?” He said with a flawless accent.
(What did he teach you?) -
"Surtout les bases, j'ai appris à peu près tout le reste par moi-même," Kathy replied with a grin, giggling softly.
("Mostly the basics, I taught myself pretty much everything else,")
