Evan smiled softly, nodding. “Yeah, thanks. I didn’t have many doubts, but it’s nice to hear it-“

Connor smiled a little, his face heating up a bit. He looked up, getting a little closer to the screen to look at Evan’s face for a moment before looking back down. He hummed softly to the music playing off his record player, his tongue sticking out a bit as he focused again.

“Why’d you get so close?” Evan said with a chuckle, moving closer to the screen to playfully mock Connor.

“Nooothing~“ Connor said, chuckling softly. “I was reading a text~”

“Hmm, sure,” Evan said with a laugh, sitting back again.

“Well, what if I don’t want to tell you? What if it’s a surprise~?” Connor said, chuckling softly.

“Aw, that’s lame-“ Evan said with a chuckle, crossing his arms.

“Well, too bad, you’ll have to suck it up~” Connor said with a chuckle, smirking at Evan.

“Wow, okay, hindering my sight even after I got it back-“ Evan said with a chuckle.

“f--- off, I’m literally not-“ Connor said with a laugh, rolling his eyes. “You’ll find out eventually, don’t worry~”

“Fine, fine- but I better be the first one-“ as an said with a chuckle.

“Don’t worry, you will,” Connor said with a smile, glancing up at Evan and watching him for a moment.

“Good,” Evan said with a small smile, spinning his chair again.

Connor smiled and started drawing again, humming softly. He paused, hearing his mother calling for him. “My mom’s calling be for something- I’ll call you later, okay?” He said, closing his journal.

“Oh, okay,” Evan said, frowning a little. “I’ll see you tomorrow?”
