Evan quickly wrapped Connor in a hug, rubbing his back. “I’m sorry you had to go through that s---, Connor- but I think it’s kinda crazy that you, y’know, bounced back and kept living even though you like- lost your f---ing legs. I probably would’ve tried again-“ he said, chuckling awkwardly.

“I did, but my sister stopped me,” Connor spoke softly, wrapping his arms around Evan and clinging to him.

“s---, dude,” Evan said softly. “And you said you weren’t mysterious-“

“Sorry, I just- I really don’t like talking about it,” Connor murmured quietly, exhaling shakily before burying his face in the crook of Evan’s neck.

“Hey, I get that,” Evan said softly, rubbing Connor’s back. “I mean- not really, but it’s understandable.”

Connor leaned into Evan’s touch, relaxing in his arms a little. “Sorry, this- this really wasn’t how I wanted to tell you,” he spoke, chuckling awkwardly. “And I- I really am sorry for keeping this from you-“

“It’s okay, I get it now,” Evan said, stopping himself from shrugging.

Connor lifted his head, looking at Evan. “And I’m sorry for avoiding you the past few weeks- I really missed hanging out with you,” he said with a small smile, watching the brunette.

Evan smiled softly. “Of course you did- I would also miss handing out with me~”

Connor rolled his eyes, chuckling softly. “I also missed kissing you, too~” He said with a smirk, pulling Evan close and kissing his lips.

Evan hummed in surprise, melting into the kiss and holding Connor close.

Connor smiled and ran a hand through Evan’s hair, deepening the kiss a little.

Evan pulled away after a moment, opening his eyes and admiring Connor. “f---, this is so much better when I can see-“

Connor chuckled softly, admiring Evan with a smile. “Yeah, you get to stare at my ugly mug while we make out~” He joked, chuckling softly.

“Your ugly mug?” Evan asked, giggling quietly.
