“No, like- You’re a blogger, right?” Connor asked, taking a step closer to Evan.
-
“Yes? What about it?” Evan said, moving his head back slightly as he heard Connor take a step.
-
“I could write your stuff for you- You tell me what to say and stuff,” Connor suggested, watching Evan for a moment. “Or I could help you with other stuff-“
-
“Yeah, cause I’m f---ing helpless and can’t do anything myself,” Evan retorted, scoffing. “Right?”
-
“No, of course not!” Connor exclaimed. “I just want to help! I’m not doing this for money, or for praises or for s---s and giggles, I genuinely just want to help.”
-
“Yeah, right,” George scoffed again, reaching a hand up to rub his face. “Stupid ass b----,” he muttered, spinning his chair around again and turning the radio on.
-
Conor rolled his eyes, turning towards the door. He exhaled softly, staring at it for a moment before looking back at Evan. He knew that tone of voice all too well, having heard it in his own voice so often after the accident. He did genuinely want to help, but he wasn’t going to make any progress like this. He thought for a moment before looking back and opening the door, stepping out of the room. “Please, think about it, okay? I- I really do just want to help,” he spoke, raising his voice a bit over the radio before walking off. Guess I’m coming back tomorrow to get his reply.
-
“f--- off!” Evan called back, not turning around.
(ts to the next day?) -
(yeah u^u)
Connor came back the next day, knocking on Evan’s front door and being greeted by his father again.
(you wanna be his dad or should i stay his dad?) -
(i can be u^u)
“I didn’t think you’d actually come back after his tantrum-“ Evan’s father said with a chuckle. -
“I’m a stubborn one, what can I say?” Connor said with a chuckle, shrugging a little. “Figured some chocolate might sweeten the deal, too-“ He added, holding up a small bag of Reese’s. “Is he upstairs again?”
-
“Yeah, good idea,” He said with a chuckle, pointing to the stairs. “And yeah, head on up there. Good luck-“
-
“Thanks,” Connor said with a chuckle, heading back upstairs to Evan’s room. He knocked on the door, waiting for a response.
-
“What?” Evan called, turning the radio off.
-
“Guess who’s got candy~?” Connor said with a chuckle, opening the door to Evan’s room.
