the afternoon session was actually pretty damn good. I liked Uchtdorfs talk the best, but all of them were pretty good
-
I think Uchtdorfs talk is just the best one for someone that wants to learn more about LDS churches to listen to. It just feels like the perfect introduction
-
Anyways, got all my ap geography homework done while listening to general conference, so now I can focus on the review packet and biology crossword puzzle
-
I've been so exhausted lately. I just want to lay down in bed and pass out for like a month

honestly general conference was really good. I don't personally believe in God or Jesus at the moment (i'm agnostic) but all the lessons felt very approachable and understandable
-
Like, I feel like I could show the talks to someone who doesn't know anything about mormons and go "Here, this is what they believe in, this is why they believe in it, and this is why they act like this"
I especially liked Uchtdorf, Tai, and Quorons talks -
also I like that they're having more foreign and diverse members speak and sing, because it makes it feel more like a universalizing belief rather than "Oh that's just a bunch of cis white mormon dudes from Utah preaching their crazy conspiracy theories" yknow
-
also Russel M Nelsons talk was good, but obviously it was, he's the prophet lol
I think it's interesting that he doesn't know the date of when Jesus will (apparently) arrive, he just knows that God has told him it'll be soon. I assumed he knew at least what year it will be based on how urgent his talks have been
