(danggg that’s the worst :’))
Evan frowned as he heard the door shut, crossing his arms. “Why did my dad just leave?” -
(frr :’)
and i was supposed to have a hangout with my youth group,
but idk if it’s happening now bc of this sudden storm-
we’ve had to reschedule it like, a ton already :’))
“Dunno-“ Connor spoke, glancing back at the now closed door. -
(awww that’s awful :’))
“So- you’re just an a--hole?? Knowing we were taking the ad down and still showing up?” Evan said, scrunching his nose. -
(well, update- not gonna be able to be on as much anymore,
my mom’s limiting my screen time on my tablet,
so i’ll maybe only really be able to be on in the evenings often…
i’m so sorry, i wish this wasn’t happening :’))
“My intentions weren’t to be an a--hole,” Connor spoke, furrowing his brows a little. “I just wanted to help-“ -
(oh naur :’
it’s okay :’)
“Well, you kinda are being one, especially that you knew we wanted the ad taken down,” Evan said. -
(i’m just so annoyed, and tired…
i’ll try n be on as much as possible, but i can’t make any guarantees T^T
i have an ultimate guitar acc you can msg me on, i’ll try n use that, pretend i’m using it for guitar practice-
i probably will make an acc for that, too, but keep my first one separate)
“Well, technically it sounded to me like you’re the only one who wanted it down, but I digress-“ -
(gotcha gotcha u^u)
“Yeah, and I’m the only one it involves, so I feel like I would have the say,” Evan said, furrowing his brows. -
“Look, I just want to help, okay?” Connor spoke, holding his hands up in defense even though Evan couldn’t see. “I- I kind of get what you’re going through, and I want to help you out, make this at least a little less s---ty for you.”
-
“How could you get what I’m going through?? Are you blind too? That wouldn’t be that helpful,” Evan said, turning his head.
-
“No, but I-“ Connor stopped, glancing down at his prosthetics holding him up. “I know what it’s like to kind of feel, helpless in a way-“
-
“How do you?” Evan said, turning his head back. “Explain to me how you do.”
-
“It’s- well, it’s kind if hard to explain, but I do understand what you’re going through,” Connor spoke with exasperation, running a hand through his hair.
-
“Of course you can’t f---ing explain,” Evan spat looking away again. “You just probably wanted some s--- to do- make you look like a good person. Well, I can do s--- on my own, thank you very much.”
-
Connor exhaled softly, feeling a little guilty. He could’ve told Evan about his prosthetics, and he probably should have, but for once he was being treated like a normal person. Sure, he was being yelled at, but who cares? At least he wasn’t getting special treatment. “Look- Your dad did a good thing, putting that ad up,” he spoke, crossing his arms over his chest, “so I suggest you calm down and not assume the worst of me. I want to help, genuinely.”
-
“Help? With what? Making me feel stupid?” Evan retorted angrily.
