“Ugh,” George said, glancing around. “Maybe you could, like… I dunno, I could make sure the coast is clear?”

“Maybe this isn’t a good idea- I don’t want to get you fired, considering you’re already risking a ton coming up to my room,” Clay spoke, rubbing his arms with his hands.

“Yeah, maybe we should wait until you’re off the hook for a second,” George said, nodding a little.

Clay nodded, leaning into George’s side. He rested his head on the brunette’s shoulder, exhaling softly.

George smiled softly, putting another plate up to dry. “I’d hug you, but my hands are wet-“

“Mm, I don’t mind,” Clay said with a chuckle, lifting his head and kissing George’s cheek.

George giggled quietly, flushing red as he grabbed another dirty pan.

Clay chuckled softly, resting a hand on the small of George’s back. “You sure you don’t need any help? I kind of need a distraction, anyways-“

“If you wanna,” George said, shrugging. “I don’t mind some help, as long as you’re offering~”

“I’d love to,” Clay said with a chuckle, kissing George’s cheek before going to wash his hands and help him finish the dishes.

“Thank you~” George said, giggling quietly.

“You’re very welcome, Georgie~” Clay replied, nudging George’s side with his elbow.

George giggled, flushing red and focusing down at the pan he was cleaning.

Clay hummed softly, grabbing a plate and starting to wash it off.
