“Oh, baby,” George said softly, hugging Clay close and rubbing his back. “I’m so sorry you feel this way.”

“I-I’m trying so, so hard to be perfect for h-her, and- and nothing I do ever satisfies her-“ Clay spoke, quiet sobs escaping his lips.

“I know, and it’s not your fault, hun,” George said, gently rubbing Clay’s back.

Clay sobbed quietly in George’s arms, clinging to the brunette.

“Cry it out, hun, it’s okay,” George whispered, holding him close.

Clay continued crying, gripping onto George’s shirt with his hands. “I-I’m so sick and tired o-of trying to please e-everyone-“ He spoke shakily, his breathing erratic.

“Hey, take a deep breath,” George whispered. “You don’t have to prove yourself to anybody- that matters, at least.”

Clay nodded, exhaling shakily. He took more deep breaths and slowly began to calm down, slumping into George’s arms. He lifted his head, sniffling softly and rubbing his eyes.

“You wanna move to your bed?” George asked softly, running a hand through Clay’s hair.

“Mhm,” Clay hummed softly in response, exhaling softly. He puled the towel off his neck and slowly stood, leaning against the wall a little to keep himself steady.

“Did the cold towel help at all?” George asked softly, standing with him.

“Yeah, I’m a bit too cold, now,” Clay replied quietly, a small smile on his face. He grabbed onto George’s arm, exhaling softly as he followed him out of the bathroom and to the bed.

“Aw, you poor thing,” George said softly, kissing the side of Clay’s head as they walked out of the bathroom. “Well, we’ll get you all tucked in and warmed up~”

Clay chuckled softly, leaning into George’s side. He exhaled softly and moved to the bed, laying down and curling up into a ball.

George grabbed the blankets, laying down next to Clay and draping the blankets over both of them. “Do you want anything?”
