“No, I get it, it’s your own mother, for God’s sake,” George nodded, running a hand through Clay’s hair. “Just- don’t panic, is all.”

Clay nodded, curling closer to George and burying his face in the brunette’s chest. He exhaled shakily, trying to calm down some.

“Take big breaths, hun,” George whispered, inhaling deeply and waiting for his boyfriend to copy.

Clay copied George and too a few deep breaths, soon calming down. He relaxed a little more in his arms, curling closer to the brunette.

“I love you hun, and I promise, this’ll get better someday,” George said softly, rubbing Clay’s back.

Clay exhaled softly and nodded, leaning into George’s touch. “I love you, too~”

“You wanna take a nap?” George said softly.

“Mhm,” Clay hummed in response, nodding a little bit.

“I have to leave in a bit, but I’ll stay with you for a while, as long as I can,” George said softly, holding Clay close.

“Okay,” Clay spoke quietly, curling closer to George. He yawned softly, resting his head against his chest.

“Sleep well~” George said softly, rubbing his back.

Clay smiled a little, closing his eyes. He soon fell asleep in George’s arms, yawning softly as he clung to the brunette.
