“Dear God-“ Clay said with a laugh, turning even brighter red. He buried his face in George’s shoulder, chuckling softly.

George giggled quietly, rubbing Clay’s back and bringing a hand up to run through his hair. “I love you too~”

Clay chuckled softly and lifted his head, kissing George’s lips.

George smiled brightly, kissing Clay back for a short moment.

Clay smiled and pulled back after a moment, curling closer to George. He zoned out for a moment as he buried his face in the crook of his neck, exhaling softly.

“So you’re sure you’re feelin’ alright? Do you just wanna sleep a little bit?” George said softly.

“Yeah, no, I’m okay-“ Clay replied, lifting his head. “I’m just, worried, I guess- About, y’know, the stuff that happened with my- my mom…”

“Oh, yeah, I’m sorry about that,” George frowned a little, running a hand through Clay’s hair. “Do you wanna talk a little bit about it?”

“I mean, what- what if she just, tries to force me to marry some girl anyways? What if she kicks me out and disowns me?? What if-“

“Well- she can’t make a decision like that’s it out your dad, right? And he accepts you,” George said softly.

“Yeah, that’s- that’s true,” Clay murmured softly, resting his head on George’s chest. “I’m just scared- I don’t know what she’ll do to me,” he added in a quiet voice, his hands beginning to shake.

“Oh, honey,” George said softly, gently massaging Clays head. “I’m sorry you’re so scared- you don’t deserve this.”

Clay exhaled shakily, curling closer to George. “What if she finds out it’s you? She’ll- she’ll fire you, and I’ll most likely never be able to- to see you- God, what if she finds out Sam knew?? I- I don’t want anything to happen to her-“

“Woah, hey, breathe, hun,” George said softly. “We’ve been hiding it really well, okay? And maybe- maybe you guys should do something about her before she could do something. about you…?”

Clay let out another shaky breath, nodding. “Sorry, I’m just- f---, I don’t know why I’m so scared-“
