Clay rolled his eyes and turned, smirking a little as he walked off. Like that’ll do any good, firing me from my job, he thought, shaking his head. He headed back into the dining room, exhaling softly.
-
Once Clay came back, dinner had already been served and his glass was filled with water, like usual. “What happened?” The king asked, a concerned look on his face.
-
“Nothing really terrible, I’m just fired from the coffee shop-“ “s---, seriously??” Sam said, furrowing her brows. “Why were you fired?” “Mom happened,” Clay said with a sigh, moving to sit down.
-
Jared sighed, rolling his eyes a little. “She’s ridiculous- I’ll speak to her about this. Get it figured out.”
-
"It's fine, honestly-" Clay said, leaning back in his seat. "I'm not even that upset about it, it's just- the fact she did it because I came out to her pisses me off," he muttered, rolling his eyes.
(bruhh why's my wifi so damn slow??? :')) -
(dang that sucks :’)
“Yeah, it’s stupid,” The king said with a nod. The queen came back into the room, sitting down in her usual seat. -
Clay avoided looking at his mother, rolling his eyes and pulling out his phone as he waited for dinner.
-
George came in a few moments later, moving to his usual spot to announce. “Dinner tonight is steak, medium well, with mash potatoes seasoned with pepper.”
-
Clay looked over, watching George for a moment with a tiny smile before looking back down at his phone. He wasn’t going to risk his mother finding out about the two of them.
-
George gave no reaction, making sure all was well before leaving again.
(ts? idk what to do :’) -
(uhhhh yeah- lmaoo)
Clay sighed as he walked into his room and sat down on his couch, hugging his legs to his chest. -
George slipped in a few moments later, shutting the door behind him. “Hi~”
-
“Hey,” Clay said with a small smile, looking over at George. “Guess who got fired from his job because his mom’s an a--hole?” He said before pointing at himself with an annoyed look on his face.
-
“Shut up, she didn’t,” George said, frowning a little bit, approaching the couch and sitting down next to him.
-
“Yep, she did,” Clay said with a sigh, resting his head on his knees. “Like, seriously, what the f--- her her deal…” He groaned softly, leaning into George’s side.
